Always be nice...


I received a call today from a lady that needed some help. I told her to come by the office before 4:00 and I would be glad to get her what she needed. She arrived at 3:15. I was swamped and the phone was ringing off the hook. I told her I would be with her in just a moment. When I was done with my phone call I asked her if I could help her. She said that she was the one that called and then she explained her situation. It was an easy fix and I quickly prepared her the letter she needed. When I handed her the letter she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, "I can't believe how nice you've been. Everyone I've talked to today hasn't been that nice." I was surprised at my reaction to her emotional state...my eyes started to tear up. It made me sad for her. I told her, "please don't cry" then asked her if I could give her a hug...we hugged tightly and I thanked her for making my day.


Seems so sad when I think about it...she cried because someone treated her nice. I was glad she came by today and I was glad she saw me...I was glad we hugged...and I was glad I met her.


It was a Wonderful Wednesday. The tears from a stranger reminded me...always be nice...it truly Makes a Difference!
