Random Act of Kindness…

The impact is huge…it happened to me last Wednesday…it was anonymous and it made more than just my day. It is truly a win/win/win situation. I felt wonderful for the surprise and thoughtfulness of the act…I’m sure the person/persons who did it felt good too…and the world is a better place with kindness in it. I decided to google it...there are tons of websites, books, and even a “Random Act of Kindness” week in February (who knew…)

Here are a few of my favorites that I found…

Buy a lottery ticket for a stranger.

Give a huge tip to someone when they least expect it.

Compliment a work colleague for their excellence.

Give another driver your parking spot.

Tell all of your family members how much you appreciate them.

Say something nice to everyone you meet today.

Smile a lot.

Drop off a toy or game at a hospital.

Pay for a toll for the person behind you.

Drop off a plant or some home-made baked goods to your local police or fire department.

Hug a friend.

Do as many things as you can by being anonymous.

Leave change in the vending machine.

Purchase a couple extra bags of dog food and take to the shelter.

Smile and say "Hello" to people you don't know.

“No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves. ” - Amelia Earhart

I hope you all have a Wonderful Wednesday with no complaints. Together we are making a difference!
