Thanksgiving Thoughts…

I love the smell of Turkey baking in the oven
Pumpkin Pie
Laughter and fun
Christmas is around the corner
Black Friday
Memories of loved ones who are no longer with us
Friends old and new
Togetherness
Prayers for our service men and women who are away from home
So much to be thankful for
Gratitude for every little thing…

I miss my children and I was sad this morning. Thank goodness for i-chat, skype, whatever technology you may use. I’ll be able to see them tomorrow via computer and that makes me very happy.

This Thanksgiving my husband and I will be spending with my mom, sister and brother. The food will be fabulous because my sister is a great cook. I’ve been assigned to bring the brussel sprouts but I think that job was just taken away from me because my sister just called and said she was going to pick up a few more things today, one being the brussel sprouts. That’s o.k. with me…I’ll bring the laughter, love and of course I’ll help with the dishes!

I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope that each of you know how thankful I am that you enjoy my Wonderful Wednesday’s…It has made a difference!

G is for gratitude... our blessings big and small
I is for ideas, letting wisdom grow tall
V is for voices, singing, laughing, always caring
I is for Indians, who taught them about sharing
N is for neighbors, across the street, over the sea
G is for giving of myself to make a better me

If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice.
