As they run across the screen
Jumping on plants
Their bodies so lean


A cat named Peanut Butter
She's watching and waiting
Taking precaution with each step
No more anticipating


The Gecko it sees her
He drops his tail in defense
Then uses his specialized toe pads
To walk vertical across the fence


Your amazing as I watch you
And I remember the time
Someone placed you on their earlobes
And wore you like earrings...it was really not fine


I'll protect you from the kitty
While you live in my house
You keep eating those mosquitoes
You're as cute as a mouse
