Confused…

I woke up this morning and just knew it was going to be a great day! When I got in my car I turned my cell phone on and my phone beeped…a new text message. As I sat in the driveway I looked to see who the text was from (I will not drive and text and I hope none of you do either). It was from my husband…he was wishing me a “Wonderful Wednesday.” I couldn’t believe it…I forgot…I really thought it was Tuesday. Of course I started questioning if he was wrong…is it really Wednesday…it couldn’t be…I would not forget Wonderful Wednesday. I couldn’t call him to confirm because he was on an airplane. I called my mom…she would tell me what day it was…she didn’t answer…so I called the bagel shop…they’ll tell me…no answer there either…then I questioned if I was even dialing the correct number…why weren’t they answering…I was so confused…not knowing what day it really was…I thought about pulling into Cumberland Farms and run in and ask them what day it was…but I was in a hurry so I turned around and drove straight to the bagel shop. I had not planned for the extra time to stop for bagels. I always call them on Wednesday mornings to place my order so they’ll be ready…why weren’t they answering? I jumped out of my car…ran inside…and said, “Good Morning, is it really Wednesday?” The lady behind the counter smiled, held up a bag and said, “We were ready for you.” Oh what a Wonderful Wednesday…even if I am confused…I was elated at their thoughtfulness…they didn’t forget!!
