I was putting Lola to bed tonight and she was tossing and turning and having a hard time trying to get to sleep (she had two episodes since I've been here and Amanda thinks they were seizures but her new doctor that she saw on Monday at Little Rock Children's Hospital prescribed meds for migraines), so I say to her, "Lola, let's get on our knees and say our prayers," she likes this idea and quite frankly I didn't know if she had ever done this before. So there we were beside the bed on our knees with our hands in the prayer position and I say, "Now I lay me down to sleep" (thinking that she is going to repeat it), but before I barely finish she says, "And I hope I get to fall asleep"....I thought I was going to die but could not laugh at her. I calmly told her, "let's start over and you repeat after me"...when we were done, she looked at me and said, "that was fun GiGi"...she's sleeping soundly. God I love her!
